Dlab have a collaboration with Central Ostrobothnia University of Applied Sciences/Department of Fur Design.
And it is the only University specialized in fur education. The Department of Fur Design begun its University degree in 1996 and has grown stronger and stronger with the support of the fur farmers of the region and professional, international visitors who have worked with us to construct this unique education. The Department has now started to construct short, intensive courses in English and will also plan tailor-made courses and workshops for designers and companies within FutureFURstudio-project together with Juthbacka Culture Centrum.

Yesterday the lab were making magic at Ateljé Grodan (we love the owners good aura). Simon Laiti/Hemmagastronomi delivered his edible jewelprototypes-and they were beautiful and sooo tasty! Sanna at Designoir we the superphotografer for the day, Linda Backman stylist, makup/hair artist was Carro Alm, and the models were our gifted actor/model Björn Elgerd, the yoga/danceguru Lawino Maria Johnsson and the beautiful Klara Lindström.
